Given staff feedback in 2018 on the Marzano HRS 1 Survey, I collaborated with school staff to design a weekly teacher nominated recognition. A veteran staff member created the door sign and each week, I filmed a surprise video!
Middle school teams were eager to get to know one another. To kick-off the school year, I started a challenge to make a staff video that was fun, silly and for our students. Each year the planning and excitement to make the video grew with staff recommending the song choices! I looked forward to filming (the bloopers!), editing and publishing the final video.
20-21 was a rough school year for everyone in education. My school family persisted and showed up for one another every step of the way. When it came to the last day of school, I worked virtually with my Principal to capture the final bell and his message to staff and students. It was an emotional experience to simulate virtually but much appreciated by staff and the community! #BUCStrong
